Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Introduction
Rawafed Al-Ma'rifah Journal for Natural and Applied Sciences seeks to publish outstanding scientific research in the field of natural and applied sciences. This guide aims to help authors prepare their manuscripts according to the required scientific standards.

Accepted Article Types
Original Research Articles: Innovative experimental or theoretical research
Scientific Reviews: Comprehensive reviews of recent developments in a specific field
Brief Reports: Preliminary results or important discoveries
Book Reviews: Critical evaluation of recent scientific books

General Formatting Requirements

Language and Writing
Articles are accepted in both Arabic and English
Language should be clear, accurate, and understandable
Avoid using unfamiliar terms without defining them

Article Structure
Title: Clear and concise reflecting the research content
Abstract: Maximum 250 words in both Arabic and English
Keywords: 3-6 keywords
Introduction: Research background and objectives
Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology description
Results: Clear presentation of results
Discussion: Interpretation of results and linking to previous studies
Conclusions: Summary of main findings
References: List of used references

Technical Formatting Requirements

Font and Spacing
Font: Times New Roman or Arial
Font Size: 12 points for main text
Line Spacing: 1.5
Margins: 2.5 cm from all sides

Pages
Page Size: A4
Page Numbering: At the bottom of the page
Maximum: 25 pages for research articles

Tables and Figures
Tables: Sequential numbering with clear titles
Figures: High resolution (at least 300 DPI)
Labels: In both Arabic and English

Citation and Reference Standards

Citation System
APA (American Psychological Association) style is used for citations:

In-text citations:
Single author: (Last Name, Year)
Two authors: (Last Name 1 & Last Name 2, Year)
Three or more authors: (Last Name 1 et al., Year)

Examples:

(Mohammed & Ali, 2022)
(Khalid et al., 2021)

Books:
Last Name, First Name. (Year). Book Title. Publisher.

Example:

Special Requirements

Scientific Ethics
Research must be original and not previously published
Avoid plagiarism and copying from other sources
Clear indication of all sources used
Obtain required ethical approvals for research on humans or animals

Clarify sources of data used
Mention statistical software used with versions
Provide supporting data upon request

Corrections and Revisions
Respond to reviewer comments within the specified time
Make required modifications accurately
Clarify all changes in the response letter
